Egor Matveev


Egor Matveev, born in 1988 in Moscow is a graduate of Moscow State University, Faculty of Journalism. Subsequently, in 2016, he graduated from the Directing Department of the Russian Theatre Academy (GITIS). He has worked as a set designer, director and scriptwriter of the Claustrophobia company quests, including “The Collector”, “Witches of Salem”, “Coma” and “Operation Flight of the Phoenix”. Matveev’s major works as a director are: 2015 - “America” (based on Franz Kafka), GITIS Theatre, Moscow 2015 – “Cynics” (based on Anatoly Mariengof), GITIS Theatre, Moscow 2016 - “African Fables” (by Grigory Oster), VERUM Production House, Moscow 2016 - “A Happy Day” (play by Alexander Ostrovsky), Novoshakhtinsk Drama Theatre 2017 - “Production of Delirium” (play by Pavel Pryazhko), "18+" Theatre, Rostov-on-Don. 2019 – “Myths” (Stephen Fry), NOL Project, Moscow 2019 – “HR: The Artist”, Museum of Moscow, Moscow 2019 – “HR: Citizen”, Museum of Moscow, Moscow 2019 – “Invisible Moscow”, Moscow.
