Dasha Yuriichuk


Dasha Yurilichuk, born in 1992, lives and works in Moscow. A graduate of the Faculty of History at the Moscow State University, department of History of Art and the Master's programme “Visual Culture” at the Higher School of Economics. Co-author of performances of the zh-v-yu group (a collaboration with Katya Volkova and Natasha Zhukova): “Landscape for a Dead Dog” (premiered at the ZIL Culture Centre, Moscow, 2017) and “Sad” (premiered at the SDVIG Performing Arts Studio, St. Petersburg, 2018). She is choreographer of the collaborative play “Locker Room Talk” (Meyerhold Centre, 2019) and one of the creators of “Caries of Capitalism” (Meyerhold Centre, 2019). Creator of the dance performance “Giselle, the Cut Version”, a collaboration with Anna Kozonina, that premiered at the SDVIG Performing Arts Studio in St. Petersburg in 2019). Dasha is also an author of publications on dance, body politics and contemporary art.
