Zhenya Berkovich


Zhenya Berkovich, born in April 1985 in St. Petersburg, is a Russian theatre director, a participant of the Seventh Studio. In 2007 she graduated from St. Petersburg Academy of Theatre Art and from 2003 till 2008 worked at the Theatre of Youth Creative in St. Petersburg as a theatre director and lecturer. In 2008 she entered the Moscow Art Theatre studio as a student of Kirill Serebrennikov. Some of Berkovich’s major works as a director at various theatres include: “The Skylark” by Jean Anouilh at Moscow Art Theatre; “Autland” by Sergei Nevsky at Vinzavod; “A Man Who Did Not Work. Iosif Brodsky`S Trial” at MHAT studio, “The Solar Line” by Ivan Vyrypaev at the Alexandrisky Theatre, New Stage.
